Mike Sgarbossa to play for SCB

Mike Sgarbossa has a valid contract with HC Lugano until 2027 but will finish this season with the Bears. He is supposed to stabilise their center.

"He is a proven scorer and a very intelligent player who will add extra quality to our game," said SCB team manager Diego Piceci.

Before moving to the Ticino, Sgarbossa played for the Washington Capitals' organization from 2018 to 2025. He has appeared in 27 games this season for the Bianconeri, recording 18 points (nine goals).
