National League

Depending on how Reinbacher, who was drafted fifth overall in this year's NHL Entry Draft, will do in the Canadiens' camp, his future will look different.

According to the "Neue Zürcher Zeitung", Reinbacher will stay in Canada if he survives the Montreal Canadiens' final roster cut. If not, he will return to Kloten to play another season in the National League. He will definitely not play in the AHL or a North American junior league.

"If he makes it to the NHL right away, we're very happy for him. And if not, we're enormously happy to have him in Kloten for another year," Larry Mitchell, team manager of EHC Kloten, states. Should Reinbacher indeed make the final cut, Kloten has some budget left to acquire another import defenseman to replace him.
