The SIHF announced today the three nominees for the last category of the Hockey Awards, which will be handed out on Thursday at the Swiss Ice Hockey Night in Solothurn. The ZSC Lions won the Swiss championship for the second consecutive year, and it is thus no surprise to see three of their players nominated for the "MVP Playoffs National League 2025" award.

Sven Andrighetto, for whom this is the second nomination at the Awards after being selected for "MVP of the Regular Season 2025", led the league in playoff points (22) and assists (13) and was second only to Lausanne HC's Théo Rochette in goals (nine). As for Denis Malgin, he recorded 20 points in 16 playoff games, scoring seven goals and tying his teammate for the most assists.

For his part, Šimon Hrubec, who has already been nominated for "Goaltender of the Year 2025", contributed to the victory by only allowing 1.60 goals per game and stopping 94% of the pucks aimed at him.
