Nick Shore will stay with HC Lugano until the end of October 2026. His deal includes an option to extend through the end of the season. “He’s a player who always puts the team first, which will bring stability to our group in every respect,” said HCL's team manager Janick Steinmann. “He’ll be a valuable asset in all game situations and is a perfect fit for our sporting culture.”

Shore is already familiar with Switzerland. During the 2020–21 season, he played for EV Zug and helped the team win the Swiss championship. In the 2022–23 season, he also played 18 games for HC Ambrì-Piotta (seven points). For the past two seasons, Shore played for Linköping HC in Sweden. In 50 games last season, he recorded 28 points (11 goals).
