The 27-year-old defenseman has signed a three-year deal with the National League team, valid until the end of the 2025-26 season.
"He's in his prime and although he already is a reliable part of our defense, we think he has the potential to develop even further," team manager Reto Kläy states.
Niklas Hansson has been part of EV Zug's organization since the 2021-22 season. In eight games this season, he has recorded two goals and four assists.
