Niko Huuhtanen has reportedly garnered the interest of Lausanne HC

According to HockeyNews.se, several SHL teams are interested in Niko Huuhtanen, among them Örebro HK and Rögle BK. There is supposedly also interest from Switzerland, namely Lausanne HC.

Where he will end up playing remains to be seen. As his agent, Nils Bäckström, tells the same source, they are currently talking to several teams and are not in a hurry to make a decision.

Huuhtanen was drafted by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. This season, he has recorded 13 goals and 21 assists in 36 games for Jukurit.
