National League

While praising the young forward, the Canadian franchise believes that it is best for his development to return to the National League.

This morning, Vinzenz Rohrer landed in Zurich and will stay there for the entire 2025-26 season. The 21-year-old Austrian forward, who was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in 2022, was invited to their training camp. Yesterday evening, however, the Habs decided to cut him from the camp and to loan him to the ZSC Lions, the team for which he played in the past two seasons.
