The day after Drake Caggiula's extension was announced, another one follows suit - the Finnish forward is adding a third year to his tenure as a Lion.

Lausanne HC is keeping Ahti Oksanen around. A member since 2024, the forward from Kirkkonummi is staying with the National League team for another winter. The three years he will presumably be with Lausanne are the longest he has been part of a club since his time at Boston University.

"I am happy to continue this journey in Lausanne with this team", Oksanen states. "I am convinced of the potential this team has for next season."

As a Lion, the Finn has appeared in 112 games, recording 29 goals and 55 assists.

"We are very happy to have Ahti in our locker room next season and to be able to count on his exemplary professionalism", team manager John Fust comments. "His commitment to the club has always been remarkable, and he perfectly embodies the values we want to convey.
