One more year for the captain - Steve Kellenberger extends with Kloten

Currently in his 17th season with EHC Kloten, Steve Kellenberger has decided to accept an extension offer for an 18th season. Moreover, the new contract contains an option for an additional term. Since last season, the cult player and captain of EHC Kloten holds the club's record for most games played.

In nine games so far this season, Kellenberger has yet to put his name on the scoresheet. On average, he spends 19:21 minutes on the ice per game, the third-highest TOI average on the team. At equal strengths, the veteran is leading the team with 17:11, one minute more than the second most-used player.
