National League

The Canadian-English dual citizen stays in the National League, joining HC Lugano from Lausanne HC.

For Brendan Perlini, HC Lugano will be the third station in Switzerland, following Lausanne HC and, further in the past, HC Ambrì-Piotta (2020-21 season). Perlini, the sixth import under contract with the Bianconeri after they released Michael Joly, is described as a skilled forward by team manager Janick Steinmann.

“Brendan Perlini is easy to describe: he’s a forward whose game is defined by three words – speed, technical skills, and talent. He’s a highly capable offensive winger with playmaking abilities and scoring touch," states Steinmann.

Last season, the 29-year-old suited up four times in the KHL with Spartak Moskva and then joined Lausanne HC in February, collecting four points in eleven games.
