Yesterday, the 2024-25 National League came to an end, and with that also the time of Peter Andersson in Switzerland. The Swede is ready to return to head coach duties after three years as assistant coach with Lausanne HC. He has signed a three-year contract with Västerås IK in the second tier of Swedish hockey.
"We have had a good dialogue with Peter for a long time, and now everything fell into place. It feels very good that we are now bringing in such an experienced and strong coach to Västerås IK. With his routine and clear leadership, we feel very secure and satisfied with our choice of coach," says Västerås IK's team manager Niklas Johansson.
