The Canadian succeeds Jordane Hauert, who retired from professional hockey at the end of the past season.
Yesterday evening, HC Ajoie announced the new captain and his assistants, RFJ reports. Philip-Michaël Devos will wear the C on his jersey, while Thibault Frossard, T.J. Brennan, Kevin Fey, and Grégory Sciaroni will serve as assistants.
Devos, 33, has been a member of HC Ajoie since the 2015-16 season when he joined them from the Italian league. With the Ajoulots, Devos won a Swiss Cup in 2020 and conquered the promotion to the National League in 2021.
