As team manager Martin Steinegger reveals, the forward is under contract with them for the moment.

Nothing has been officially announced by the club just yet, but as Martin Steinegger states on the podcast "La StammTisch", Ramon Tanner is currently under contract and will start the season with EHC Biel. He spent the preparation on a tryout with the team, and seems to have convinced them to keep him on board.
Tanner, 25, has been part of Biel since 2018.
