In an Instagram post, HC Davos and Marc Wieser announced that the forward will be retiring from professional hockey at the end of the season. He joined the club as a 12-year-old and spent most of his career there, aside from a three-year stint in Biel.

In blue and yellow, Wieser has won four Swiss championship titles (with a possible fifth still on the horizon) and one Spengler Cup. He sits very close to the mark of 1000 National League games and, depending on if League Qualification is to be counted, might clinch that number come playoffs.

Over the years, Wieser has put up more than 400 points in the National League.
