Jere Sallinen will no longer be part of EHC Biel. The forward is at the end of his contract, which will not see an extension. He had joined the team in 2021 and made 247 games for them, recording 65 goals and 79 assists.

There have been reports about interest in the 35-year-old from his home country, Finland. Jokerit and HIFK are among the potential new homes for Sallinen, but his youth team, Kiekko-Espoo, is also mentioned.
