Rodwin Dionicio has been loaned to EHC Biel by his AHL-team, the San Diego Gulls. It will be the 20-year-old's first time on Swiss ice since 2021, when he was part of SC Bern's youth department. Practically a year ago, Biel had taken the youngster under contract, but a few months later, Dionicio signed his Entry-Level Deal with the Anaheim Ducks.
In his first AHL season, the Ducks' 2023 fifth-round draft pick has suited up 24 times, recording five goals and four assists, while also assembling 42 penalty minutes.
Initially, Dionicio was assigned to San Diego's ECHL affiliate, the Tulsa Oilers, yesterday.
