With only Miro Aaltonen and Hardy Häman Aktell among the imports with contracts valid beyond the current season, SC Bern has added two more foreigners to their future roster.  Waltteri Merelä has agreed to terms for a third and fourth consecutive season with the Bears, while Anton Lindholm only for a third championship for now.

Among their qualities, the two players bring leadership, team manager Diego Piceci explains: "Waltteri is an absolute leader in our team. With his goal-scoring ability and commitment, he is extremely valuable to us. We are also delighted with Anton's commitment. With his skills and leadership, he is a very important part of our team."

So far in the first four games of the season, 27-year-old Merelä has collected three points in four games, while 30-year-old Lindholm has yet to appear on the scoresheet.
