Whereas Maurer will remain in Bern until the end of the season, Henauer has signed a two-year contract extension.

As rumored in the past few days, SC Bern has finalized two extensions: defender Marco Maurer, who was borrowed from Genève-Servette HC, will stay with the Bears until the end of the current season, while goaltender Andri Henauer will stay in the capital city until at least 2026. Maurer has terminated his contract with GSHC therefore he is now officially under contract with SCB.

Moreover, as anticipated by the "Berner Zeitung" three days ago, Julius Honka will stay with the Grenats until the end of January. The Finnish defender was loaned by SC Bern to Genève-Servette HC at the beginning of December when Marco Maurer went the other way.
