SC Bern to honor Philippe Furrer on March 3

Not fulfilling all the necessary criteria when he hung up his skates, SC Bern nonetheless decided to retire Philippe Furrer's jersey. That was in June of 2022. An actual date of the honoring act has been announced - March 3. As part of it, there will be a "Game of Legends".

"Philippe spent the majority of his ice hockey career in Bern, was a strong presence in the junior program, and shaped several championship-winning teams", Bern's Chief Sponsoring Officer Rolf Bachmann states. "He deserves this award."
