The Austrian forward, who is in possession of a Swiss players' license, will have to make a decision about his future as his contract with SC Bern is expiring.
While SC Bern seems to be interested in keeping Benjamin Baumgartner, other teams are also courting the forward. According to Klaus Zaugg ("Watson"), the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers and HC Ambrì-Piotta have thrown their hats into the ring.
Baumgartner is currently in his second season with the Bears. In 19 regular-season games for them, he has recorded four goals and six assists.
