Schedule for the new National League regular season released

September 9 is a good date to look forward to for Swiss hockey fans - the 2025-26 National League season kicks off that day. A full round is being played, with matchups featuring HC Ambrì-Piotta and EHC Kloten, HC Davos versus Lausanne HC, HC Fribourg-Gottéron against HC Lugano, Genève-Servette HC taking on HC Ajoie, the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers hosting the SCL Tigers, EHC Biel on the road against the ZSC Lions, and, last but not least, a clash between EV Zug and SC Bern.

Six months later, on March 9, the season ends with another full round. In between, there will be the usual breaks for international play and the Spengler Cup, but this winter, an additional one will take place for the Olympic Games in February.

Play-in series will start on March 12, and the proper Playoffs on March 20.

A new feature this season is several Sunday games that already commence at 14:00, compared to the standard so far, with Sunday games being played at 15:45 and occasionally at 19:45.
