As is tradition, "24 heures", "Tribune de Genève", "Tages-Anzeiger" and the "Berner Zeitung" asked all captains and coaches of the NL teams to select the best players of the 2024-25 season.
Stéphane Charlin took home the title "MVP of the National League" with 15 votes, seven more than Austin Czarnik who was elected "Best Forward" of the league. Charlin, for his part, also clearly won the category "Best Goaltender" with 21 votes.
As for the "Best Coach" award, Lausanne HC's Geoff Ward received the most votes. It is his second win in this category. He also won by a landslide as he gathered 20 votes. The categories for "Best Defenseman" and "Most Improved Player" were much closer. SC Bern's Romain Loeffel was elected as the best defender, whereas the SCL Tigers' Dario Rohrbach was awarded as the most improved player.
The poll also covered the all-star teams of the season: Stéphane Charlin (SCL Tigers), Romain Loeffel, Austin Czarnik (SC Bern), Dean Kukan (ZSC Lions), Dominik Kubalik (HC Ambrì-Piotta), Lino Martschini (EV Zug) are part of the all-star team that includes import players, while the Swiss all-star team consists of Stéphane Charlin (SCL Tigers), Romain Loeffel (SC Bern), Dean Kukan, Sven Andrighetto, Denis Malgin (ZSC Lions), Lino Martschini (EV Zug).
