Senators' Olle Lycksell headed to HC Lugano?

The 26-year-old forward will be at the end of his contract with the Ottawa Senators this season. According to "Sportsbladet", he already knows where he will play next.

Ollye Lycksell has supposedly agreed to terms with HC Lugano for the 2026-27 season. It would be the Swede's first season in Switzerland. He has been playing in North America for the past four seasons. 

Drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in 2017, he played three seasons for the Flyers (2022-2025) before joining the Sens in 2025. This season, he recorded one goal and one assist in seven regular-season games for Ottawa and 13 goals and 17 assists in 44 games for their AHL affiliate, the Belleville Senators.
