Simon Knak's contract with HC Davos will expire this coming spring, making him one of the most sought-after players for the 2026-27 season. According to "Blick", four clubs are still in the running to sign the 23-year-old forward: HC Davos (his current club), Lausanne HC, EV Zug, and the ZSC Lions.

While it is not known whether Knak has already signed a deal with a club, it seems like he has made his choice and opted for the ZSC Lions

Additionally, as the same source reveals, the back-to-back champions have reportedly inked veteran defenders Patrick Geering and Yannick Weber to one-year extensions valid until the end of the 2026-27 season.

This season, Knak scored two goals and picked up two assists in seven games. Last year, he collected 19 points in 52 games and also participated in his first World Championship with Switzerland, recording six points in ten games and winning the silver medal.
