Steinegger confirms that deal between SCB and EHCB is close

“We're still waiting for one signature to finalize Rodwin's transfer from Biel to Bern. Bern is aware of our terms, since he still has a contract through 2027. But I expect this transfer to go through," Steinegger said. As Klaus Zaugg writes on Watson later this day, Dionicio and Bern have agreed on a three-year deal that will be announced tomorrow.

He was also asked about potentially acquiring Thomas Bordeleau. However, Steinegger expects him to stay in North America. They had been in contact with his camp a couple of months ago and, if he would become available, they would certainly look at it, but they have more or less spent their budget for the season: “It's clear that it would require a special financial effort on our part.”
