According to Klaus Zaugg ("Watson"), the Grenats would place their faith in Sandro Zurkichen if Stéphane Charlin were to make use of the NHL transfer agreement by June 15.
However, chances are good that Charlin will stay in Geneva. "We are still looking at several options. The chances are about 50:50. I assume that his chances will be greater after next season, after the Olympic Games and another World Championship," Gaëan Voisard, Charlin's agent, tells Zaugg.
It thus remains to be seen where Sandro Zurkirchen might end up. Zaugg writes that "SC Bern is vaguely interested" but has not offered him a deal. Zurkirchen posted a .916 save percentage in 26 regular-season games.
