Swedish forward Johan Sundström an option for the ZSC Lions?

Johan Sundström has been playing for Finnish club Vaasan Sport since 2023 and is part of the captain's team. The Swede could leave the club before the end of the season, given that the Liiga club is currently at the bottom of the table and plans to reduce its squad, making an early departure possible. 

Vaasan sporting director Ari-Pekka Pajuluoma has confirmed that negotiations with other clubs are currently underway. However, according to “HockeyNews.se,” the ZSC Lions are said to be in the lead in the negotiations.

Sundström has played 31 games so far this season, scoring ten goals and recording eight assists.
