The future of Ramon Tanner has yet to be determined

As team manager Martin Steinegger tells the "Journal du Jura", it will depend on the new head coach whether Ramon Tanner will get another chance in Biel or not. Ian Derungs, who was loaned to EV Zug this past season, is for now back with the Seelanders.

Speaking of the new head coach, Steinegger was not willing to confirm that Martin Filander is set to coach the team next season. He did, however, reveal that it is definitely no longer an option that he himself will work as head coach and as team manager.

According to the "Bieler Tagblatt", Steinegger would also like to start the season with seven import players. If he is able to do so, he would like the additional import player to be a forward.

As for their younger players, Steinegger and his staff plan to loan Mark Sever and Guillaume Kaser to EHC Olten. Other young players might also get the opportunity to suit up for the Swiss League team.
