The Tigers sign Phil Baltisberger to an early contract extension

A fix member of the SCL Tigers' roster since this past season, Phil Baltisberger has quickly established himself as a key piece of Langnau's defense, earning himself an early three-year contract extension. Team manager Pascal Müller: "Phil is an absolute top performer with a great personality. He takes responsibility, exemplifies the team spirit, and gives us important stability on and off the ice."

This past season, Baltisberger appeared in 42 games, missing time due to a broken foot. The 29-year-old defender recorded 14 points while averaging 19:18 minutes per game in the regular season, the third-highest on the team. In the playoffs, he was on the ice for more than 22 minutes per game on average.
