The ZSC Lions have signed Joel Henry to his first pro contract

A member of the ZSC Lions' organization since 2018, Joel Henry will remain a Lion until at least 2026. In his career, Henry has mainly suited up for the GCK Lions, but this season he also made his debut in the National League with the ZSC Lions.

The team manager of the Lions, Sven Leuenberger, believes that Henry is ready for the next step: "Joel is a technically skilled center and young player from our own organization who we want to develop further. He is already averaging half a point per game in the Swiss League and is now ready to make the step up to the National League."

This season, Henry collected ten points (seven goals) in 21 games with the GCK Lions and two assists in five games with the ZSC Lions.
