Theodor Lennström had signed a two-year contract with Genève-Servette HC but had until June 15 to sign with a club in the NHL. Despite intensive discussions and negotiations with NHL teams, the 28-year-old has decided to stay in Geneva.
Marc Gautschi, team manager of the Grenats, explains to "Blick" that Lennström has decided not to make the move to North America as he considers Geneva to be the best place for his development at the moment.
