The 27-year-old forward will be at the end of his contract with SC Bern in spring 2025. Earlier this week, the "Berner Zeitung" reported that he would not return to the capital city.

According to the "Tages-Anzeiger", Sven Leuenberger, team manager of the ZSC Lions, has taken an interest in Thierry Bader. However, they are not the only interested party. Klaus Zaugg ("Watson") reported that Lausanne HC, EHC Biel, and HC Fribourg-Gottéron are also courting the forward.
Bader is currently in his fifth season with SC Bern. This season, he has played in 26 games, recording four assists.
