Last week, there was some speculation (by Klaus Zaugg) about where Fabrice Herzog might end up once his contract with EV Zug expires. With the club's announcement of the extension, the possibility of Herzog leaving Zug has been put on hold for at least the coming three years.
Team manager Reto Kläy states that they are delighted to have Herzog around until 2026. "With his wealth of experience from eight years in the National League as well as from playing with the national team at World Championships and Olympic Games, he is an asset to our team."
A member of them since 2021, the 27-year-old has made 59 games for Zug so far, recording 24 goals and 19 assists. Last spring, he scored the championship-clinching goal for the Bulls.
