HC Davos has announced a contract extension for Nico Gross. Initially signed until next summer, the defenseman is sticking around for another three years. He joined them in 2024 from EV Zug, where he had spent most of his previous career.
"Nico's ambitions match ours," team manager Jan Alston notes. "He has quickly integrated into our team, developed into a solid defender, and brings the mentality that we live by in Davos."
Since returning from his overseas stint with the Oshawa Generals in 2020, Gross has made 288 National League games for Zug and Davos. Just today, he has been selected to represent the Swiss men's national team for the first time (at the EHT in Finland).
