The SCL Tigers have extended goaltender Jovin Trachsel’s expiring development contract ahead of schedule. The 18-year-old has been awarded a professional contract valid from the 2027–28 season through the end of the 2028–29 season. Trachsel will be part of the Tigers’ goalie quartet next season, alongside Luca Boltshauser, Robin Meyer, and Martin Neckar.

"Jovin is a dedicated and determined athlete from the region who has shown great commitment to his development," William Rahm, Head of Goalies for the SCL Tigers, states. "He has a very mature and composed style, and we are excited to see how he’ll handle the next step in his career."

Trachsel has played at various youth levels for the Emmental-based club. So far this season, he has played six games for the Emmental U21 team and two games for the U20 national team.
