Klaus Zaugg ("Watson") reported last week that the 24-year-old goaltender had accepted an offer from Genève-Servette HC for the upcoming season.

While the report has yet to be confirmed, Thierry Paterlini, head coach of the SCL Tigers, told the "Berner Zeitung" that he does not count on Charlin for the 2025-26 season anymore. He is not the only player the Tigers have to worry about anyway: nine of their defenders and eleven of their forwards are on expiring contracts.

Charlin, a product of Genève-Servette HC's organization, has been with the SCL Tigers since the 2022-23 season. While he first was loaned to them by the Grenats he signed a contract with them in 2023. Last season, he appeared in 30 games for the Tigers, posting a .919 save percentage.
