The US-forward has decided to not join the SCL Tigers due to family reasons. The club has confirmed a report from Klaus Zaugg ("Watson").

Garrett Roe will stay in North America with his family and not return to Switzerland. Instead, he is going to play in the AHL next season. His new club is not yet known.

The SCL Tigers thus need not just one, but two additional import centers for next season. According to Klaus Zaugg ("Watson"), the Tigers are courting the same (unnamed) candidates as the ZSC Lions, which makes it difficult for them. "We can't compete with the offers from the ZSC Lions," Pascal Müller says to Zaugg.

Müller thus hopes that Cody Eakin might be willing to extend his career and his contract with Langnau for another season. "It's not out of the question that Cody might add another season after all," Müller says to Zaugg. "It's a small chance, but we'll try..."
