HC Lugano has provided an update regarding their roster for the coming season. It includes a somewhat new arrival in Alessio Beglieri, a first professional deal for Enea Togni, and extensions with Stéphane Patry and Cole Cormier.

Cormier became part of the Bianconeri in 2023 after having spent most of his junior time in Canada. As the forward's first hockey license was a Swiss one (due to his father being part of HC Sierre at that time), he does not count against the import limit. His new deal is valid until 2027.

Patry has been with Lugano since 2022, but his first two years were filled with injury-related absences, so he has only made 84 appearances for the team so far. There should be more coming, as the forward is sticking around until 2026.

Togni is moving up from the Ticinesi's youth department and has signed his first professional deal. The defenseman already got to gather some National League experience, suiting up twice in December.

Last but not least, Beglieri, who has served as Lugano's backup goaltender already once this season, is joining again - this time on an actual contract, not just an emergency license. Currently a member of EHC Visp, the 21-year-old has signed a contract for the coming two seasons.
