National League

Starting next summer, the forward is switching mountains for hills, a small lake for a bigger one, and, most importantly National League teams.

Earlier today, EV Zug announced the acquisition of Chris Egli. Currently still with HC Davos, he will join the coming season on a deal valid until 2028. Zug is going to be only the second proper stop in the 29-year-old's career, although he did get loaned to HC Ambrì-Piotta (and the Ticino Rockets) as well as HC Thurgau (for one game) in the past.

"Chris is a smart forward who will bring a lot of energy and speed to our game", Zug's team manager Reto Kläy states. "His versatility in offensive positions is a huge asset for us."

Overall, Egli has played 469 games in the National League, recording 49 goals and 61 assists.
