Lias Andersson has signed an extension with EHC Biel. Still part of the National League club for another year anyway, the Swede will now remain a member until 2028 instead. He had joined Biel last summer, coming over from the AHL.

In their press release, the club praises Andersson's understanding of the game, his versatility, and his effort, both on offense and on defense. Last season, the 26-year-old recorded 15 goals and 18 assists in 40 games. He was sidelined for some time in November and most of December due to an injury.
