Despite a contract valid until the end of the upcoming 2026-27 season, Nicolas Müller and EHC Biel had decided in April for a mutual termination. Free from any contract, Müller has now accepted the offer from Geneva. The Grenats will thus be the second team in Switzerland for Müller. Despite his age, Müller is only in his third professional season, having played five seasons in the NCAA from 2019 to 2024 before joining EHC Biel.
Marc Gautschi, team manager of Genève-Servette HC, describes Müller as a versatile player: “We are delighted to welcome Nicolas to our club; he can play equally well in the centre, on the wing, and in all special teams. Thanks to his dynamism, intensity, and excellent defensive qualities, he will be a valuable asset to our team."
This past season, Müller scored two goals in 18 games with EHC Biel. He missed several games due to shoulder surgery. Last year, he picked up 14 points in 50 games.
