Victor Söderström has not closed the door on the NHL

“If I get a new contract with Boston and I am able to accept it before June 15, I’ll take it and go back [to the NHL]," Victor Söderström tells "Gefle Dagblad" (relayed by "Hockeysverige.se"). This thus also means that Biel might have to look for another defender if the Swede were to receive an offer.

Söderström has been playing in North America for several seasons, but mostly played in the AHL. After returning to Europe for one season in 2024, he tried his luck again last season, signing with the Boston Bruins. He did, however, only get to play eight games for the Bruins, but appeared in 57 for their AHL affiliate, the Providence Bruins.
