Ville Peltonen is HC Ajoie's new head coach

HC Ajoie's new head coach is Ville Peltonen. The 53-year-old Finn worked for Genève-Servette HC last season. He was an assistant coach, but then took over as head coach when Yorick Treille was relieved of his duties. He was also working as an assistant coach for the Finnish team at the Olympics.

Moreover, they have signed Samuel Tilkanen as an assistant coach. The 36-year-old Finn worked together with Peltonen in Geneva last season. Sergio Gaggioni, who was last working for HC Davos, will join the Ajoulots as an off-ice coach. Peteri Nummelin (assistant coach) and Vladimir Hiadlovsky (goaltending coach) remain part of the team.

Furthermore, the team is planning the 2026-27 season without Marco Pedretti and Matteo Romanenghi. They have valid contracts, so the team is still working on a solution with all involved parties. 

Former HC Ajoie player Jordane Hauert will join the team's front office, and Pascal Bourquard Jr. has been elected as vice-president of HC Ajoie.
