Will the collaboration between SC Bern and EHC Basel come to an end?

According to Klaus Zaugg ("Watson"), the current agreement between the two teams will not be extended.

EHC Basel and SC Bern have been working together at the junior as well as the pro level since March 2022. Supposedly, their working agreement will not be continued beyond this season. The reason given is the need for greater flexibility on the part of the Swiss League club. However, the report has not yet been officially confirmed. 

There is also other news concerning EHC Basel: Thomas Kissling will succeed Olivier Schäublin as CEO of the Swiss League team. Kissling has been working in the private sector up to now.
