The 26-year-old forward has agreed to stay with HC Davos for an additional two seasons, thus extending his contract until the end of the 2026-27 season.

Yannick Frehner is a product of EHC Chur's organisation but has played for HC Davos since the U17 level. Making his professional debut in 2018, he has been suiting up for the National League team ever since.
Last season, the forward appeared in 50 regular-season games, recording seven goals and eight assists. He added one goal and one assist to his tally in the playoffs.
