Not having received a new contract from his former club Fribourg, the defenseman will move to the first league.
HC Vallée de Joux announced a big signing today. They were able to land Benjamin Chavaillaz, formerly of HC Fribourg-Gottéron. After a long career in the National and the Swiss League, the 34-year-old did not get another shot with the Dragons.
Vallée de Joux play in Le Sentier, which is located in a corner of the Vaud. They just made their way back into the first league after being demoted the previous season. New acquisition Chavaillaz has signed a one-year deal with them.
