Swiss Hockey

The Men's and the Women's Final of the National Cup took place today. The games were played in Lucerne.

In the women's final, the leader of the Women's League SC Bern and the leader of the SWHL-B EV Zug met each other. Zug was in the lead for most of the game but SC Bern managed to tie the game in the 53rd minute. In the end, the game was decided in the shootout. Sarah Forster secured the victory for Bern. 

As for the men's final, EHC Basel and EHC Olten faced each other. Basel led the game until the 57th minute of play when Olten managed to tie the game 2-2. However, only 89 seconds after the equalizer, Brett Supinski scored on the power play and thus delivered the game-winning goal for Basel.
