Ambrì's Matěj Pekař loaned to Chur

HC Ambrì-Piotta has announced that Matěj Pekař will suit up on loan for EHC Chur. Returning to Switzerland from a stint with the Seattle Thunderbirds (WHL), the 18-year-old Czech-born forward will continue his development with the Swiss League club. He is set to join them next week.

To get his Swiss player's licence, the youngster has to play another two seasons in the country and suit up for the U21 at least ten times each winter. For this year, the Biancoblù plan to have that fulfilled by the international break in November.
