Bellinzona changes its name from Rockets to GDT Bellinzona Snakes

Apart from the name change, there have also been some changes regarding the share percentage: GDT now holds 70% of the shares and HC Ambrì-Piotta 30%.

The Biancoblù will continue to support the GDT Bellinzona Snakes and will send them at least four players each season. They will also still work together at the youth hockey level. 

There are also some changes in Bellinzona's board of directors:  president Matteo Mozzini and members Trevor Frigerio, Davide Pedrioli, and John Mischkulnig will no longer be on the board. Giovanni Tonelli, president, Rolando Marzano, vice president, and Christian Sciarini have been elected as the new board members by the shareholders at the general assembly.
