There will be a Ticino-based team in the Swiss League in the coming season. As GDT Bellinzona announces, they have registered their squad for 2024-25. More information about collaborations and a new corporate structure should follow in the coming weeks.
In addition, Bellinzona has signed two players from HC Fribourg-Gottéron's youth department, each to a one-year deal. Defenseman Nathan Favre, 20, has already made a game in the National League during the 2021-22 season. Forward Robin Dey, 19, spent parts of last season with the Düdingen Bulls in the MyHockey League.
